Today we had class as usual then headed back to the L’Osteria Santo Spirito for lunch because we had a little extra time today. I was able to order Pappa al Pomodoro soup again with a creamy gnocchi pasta. After lunch I was completely stuffed and headed back to the room to write out the rest of my post cards for my friends.

We then headed to Santa Croce. I was a little freaked out by this church because there were tombs everywhere on the floor. It was cool seeing the elaborate and decorative tombs of people like Machiavelli and Michelangelo lining the walls; however, I hated walking all over the ones on the floor. I did see a beautiful tabernacle of the annunciation of Mary and snapped a picture of it.

The rest of my day was pretty chill. I headed back to the Instituto and took a quick nap. Then woke up and ate at our favorite Chinese place. Then I got to work on my reflection for the day and finished my inquiry assignment paper. Tonight I’m taking it easy and packing up my room because Kelsey and I have to move to another one tomorrow morning. We get our 24 hour final tomorrow and I’m a little nervous about it… although I do think I’ve retained a lot more information than I thought I did. It should be interesting nonetheless. Well I’m off!
Night Everyone! (Or technically afternoon for those of you back in the States.)
